Digital Legacy · A LifeWeaver Story

Leave something real behind.

A digital-legacy TimeTapestry — for Sam and his children.

When the diagnosis came, my first thought wasn't about me. It was about everything my kids would never get to ask me. LifeWeaver became the place I put the answers — one story at a time, while I still can.

I'm not famous. I won't have a biography. But I have forty-three years of texts, photos, playlists, and half-finished notes that add up to a whole person — and I wanted my children to be able to find him.

“Recorded 20 minutes about my own father tonight. Things my kids should know. It's saved now. It won't be lost.”

LifeWeaver gathered the raw material of a life I'd never had time to organize — the trip to the coast, the song I played them every night, the messages between me and their mother from before they existed. It gave the fragments an order, and a voice that still sounds like mine.

A Living Memoir

It isn't a folder of files. It's a story they can search. “What did Dad think about…” — and there's an answer, in my words, woven from the things I actually said and did.

“Added the lullaby playlist and the story behind each song. Someday they'll play these to their own kids.”

I can't choose how much time I get. I can choose what I leave behind — and how easy it is to find.

A keepsake from a life's story

Something Real to Carry Forward

We keep adding to it together — my kids ask questions, I answer, the tapestry grows. It's become less about the ending and more about the conversation we get to have now, on purpose, out loud.

Whatever comes, they'll have more than a memory that fades. They'll have the story — searchable, beautiful, and unmistakably theirs to keep.

“My daughter read the chapter about her birth. She said, ‘I can hear you talking, Dad.’ That's the whole point.”

“I'd give anything for more time. Short of that, I'm giving them the story.”Sam, digital-legacy TimeTapestry
